Daywise Tour Itinerary
The tour begins with arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Guests are welcomed and transferred to a hotel in Colombo for check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure or may include an optional city orientation drive. Overnight stay is arranged in Colombo.
After breakfast, guests travel to Sigiriya. En route, optional stops can be made at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Upon arrival in Sigiriya, hotel check-in is followed by leisure time. Overnight stay is arranged in Sigiriya.
In the morning, guests visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock Fortress, famous for its ancient frescoes and panoramic views. After the visit, the tour continues to Kandy, with an en route stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple. Upon arrival in Kandy, guests check in at the hotel and later visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight stay is arranged in Kandy.
After breakfast, guests proceed to Nuwara Eliya. The scenic drive passes tea plantations, waterfalls, and highland landscapes. Guests visit a tea estate and factory before reaching Nuwara Eliya for check-in. Local sightseeing includes Gregory Lake and colonial landmarks. Overnight stay is arranged in Nuwara Eliya.
Following breakfast, the journey continues to Ella by scenic train or vehicle. Upon arrival, guests check in at their hotel and may visit Nine Arch Bridge or enjoy a short hike to Little Adam’s Peak. Overnight stay is arranged in Ella.
After breakfast, guests travel to Yala. Upon arrival, hotel check-in is followed by an afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park, known for its leopards, elephants, and rich birdlife. Overnight stay is arranged in Yala.
After breakfast, the tour proceeds to Bentota. The drive along the southern coast offers scenic views of beaches and fishing villages. Upon arrival, hotel check-in is followed by leisure time to enjoy the beach. Overnight stay is arranged in Bentota.
After breakfast, guests may opt for a boat safari on the Madu River or visit a turtle hatchery before departing for Colombo. Upon arrival, guests check in at their hotel and may explore the city’s shopping areas or landmarks. Overnight stay is arranged in Colombo.
After breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for their onward journey, concluding the Sri Lanka Cultural & Scenic Highlights Tour.
