After breakfast, guests proceed on a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The route offers views of forests, rivers, and villages. Upon arrival, guests check in at the hotel. Depending on arrival time, they may visit the National Memorial Chorten or enjoy an evening stroll in the city. Overnight stay is arranged in Thimphu.

This day is dedicated to local sightseeing in Thimphu. The itinerary includes visits to the Buddha Dordenma statue, the National Library, the Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong, and the Handicrafts Emporium. Guests may also visit the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Thimphu.

After breakfast, the tour continues to Punakha via Dochula Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas and is marked by 108 memorial chortens. On arrival in Punakha, guests visit the grand Punakha Dzong situated at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Overnight stay is arranged in Punakha.

The journey continues to Gangtey, located in the picturesque Phobjikha Valley, known for its natural beauty and as the winter home of the endangered black-necked cranes. Upon arrival, sightseeing includes Gangtey Monastery and exploration of the valley. Overnight stay is arranged in Gangtey.

After breakfast, guests return to Paro via the mountain passes, enjoying views of forests and river valleys along the way. Upon arrival, guests check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure or optional local exploration. Overnight stay is arranged in Paro.

This day features a guided excursion to Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest, perched on a cliffside at 3,120 meters. The trek offers breathtaking scenery and an opportunity to experience one of Bhutan’s most revered sites. In the evening, guests may explore the local markets of Paro. Overnight stay is arranged in Paro.

After breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred to Paro Airport for their onward journey, or return to Phuentsholing for exit formalities, marking the conclusion of the Bhutan tour.
